Seder Dinner

On Monday, April 22, we'll be hosting a Seder dinner to honor the tradition of Passover which begins that evening. Doors to Adams Hall will open at 6:00 pm and the dinner begins at 6:30. All are welcome to come.

The main ritual of Passover is the seder, a festive meal that involves the re-telling of the Exodus through stories and song and the consumption of ritual foods, including matzah and maror (bitter herbs). The seder’s rituals and other readings are outlined in the Haggadah. We will have a copy of the Haggadah for everyone so all can participate.

A signup sheet is on the bulletin board outside Adams Hall. Please let us know what item you'll be bringing whether main dish, side dish, or dessert to share. Food will need to be kosher in honor of this Jewish tradition: NO pork or pork products, shellfish, or leavening in bread or dessert.

Volunteers are also needed to help set up beforehand and clean up afterwards.  If you can volunteer, please contact Gail Rock or Lynn Murphy through
sederdinner@eliotchapel.org.
