Volunteer Spotlight: Rebecca Schuder

In our Volunteer Village we have many eager folks who give of their time and talents for the greater good of Eliot Chapel. One of our shining stars is Rebecca Schuder. Rebecca has been quietly working in the background at Eliot Chapel for many months now. Rebecca makes the world (and Eliot Chapel) a better place! She is a humble sort who will never toot her own horn, so we'll do it for her!

Rebecca took on the overwhelming task of reorganizing and labeling the Front Office closets, organizing the storage cabinets in Adams Hall, the kitchen cabinets, the copy room, and the Garden Room. This was a much needed task which had not been attacked since pre-covid and post-fire-restoration days. In addition to that, Rebecca has taken on the responsibility for shopping to keep our coffee hour supplies stocked. She makes sure Coffee Hour runs smoothly and often fills in if no one has signed up to serve coffee.

Rebecca also organizes the Flower Team and makes sure we have beautiful arrangements for our weekly worship service. She does all of this with a smile on her face and joy in her heart. When you see this charming lady 'around and about' Eliot, please tell her "thank you." And when you need to know where anything is located, from a candle holder to a pencil sharpener, Rebecca will know where to find it!
