Easter Sunday's offertory is dedicated to Humanitarian Relief in Gaza.

Many of us have been watching the unfolding of the humanitarian disaster in Gaza with deep concern.  We are concerned that the Israeli hostages remain in the hands of Hamas.  We are concerned about the suffering of the Palestinian people, many of whom have no food, water, health care access, shelter, utilities etc. There are now reports of children dying of malnutrition.

This Sunday the entirety of our offering will be dedicated to Islamic Relief USA's Palestinian Emergency Fund which provides emergency humanitarian assistance in Gaza.  Islamic Relief USA was chosen because of its 25-year history of supporting the wellbeing of Gaza residents, working with local farmers and suppliers in the gathering and distribution of aid, and its strong reputation both in the U.S. and internationally.

If you wish to donate online, here is the page on their website dedicated to Palestinian relief which also includes a QR code to make a one time donation to the Palestinian emergency fund.
