Holiday Solstice Singing Bowls at Eliot Chapel
On December 18 from 6:00-7:15 pm, downstairs in Room 001, in celebration of the Winter Solstice and the Holiday Season, we invite you to our special Singing Bowls Class. Winter is the dormant time for plants, animals, and people. With more darkness, stillness naturally nurtures peace.
Our class honors the darkness and stillness as a time for rest, inner reflection, and energy conservation. We release what no longer serves us, creating space to set intentions for new growth so we may embrace the fresh light. The vibrations of the bowls release the old and welcome the new. Breathwork and gentle relaxation positions will help internalize our rest and renewal.
Previous yoga experience isn't necessary. A yoga mat or blanket will be needed. The practice may be done seated on a chair. Layers of comfortable, stretchable clothing are suggested. Comfortable props are available. The cost is $20.
Hoping this class will help you rest, restore, and renew! If interested, join us at Amigos afterward for time with friends.
