Shared Plate: Crime Victim Center, August 2025

Every Sunday, Eliot Chapel shares half of the offertory with an organization in the community whose work reflects our shared values. This is one way that we care for our community and our neighbors. We are very pleased that August's recipient is the Crime Victim Center.

The Crime Victim Center (CVC) empowers individuals impacted by crime to move from crisis to resiliency through advocacy, counseling, legal assistance, and community outreach. Both Eliot and CVC are committed to fostering healing, justice, and compassion in their communities. While CVC focuses on supporting crime victims through their journey to recovery, Eliot Chapel promotes inclusivity, social justice, and spiritual growth, creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking solace and support. CVC believes in a community healing approach, as does Eliot. Learn more at supportvictims.org.
