Shared Plate: Criminal Justice Ministry, October 2025

Every Sunday, Eliot Chapel shares half of the offertory with an organization in the community whose work reflects our shared values. This is one way that we care for our community and our neighbors. We are very pleased that October's recipient is Criminal Justice Ministry.

Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) works to improve our communities by supporting and empowering those affected by incarceration. Their focus is on those who live in or served their sentences in the St. Louis metropolitan area. CJM addresses the need for human connection; basic human services; counseling; community connections; and advocacy. CJM envisions a future for those impacted by incarceration where their relationships and communities are safe and supportive, incarceration is minimized, and recidivism is eliminated.
