Parents’ Night Out – Fun for All Generations!
NEW THIS YEAR!
WHAT: At least 3 adult volunteers will be ready with activities, books, and plenty of love to watch the kiddos. Meanwhile, parents can go out, relax, and enjoy some kid-free time!
WHERE: Room 001
WHEN: Fourth Saturday of every month, 5:30–8:30 pm; first events: September 26 & October 24
WHY & HOW:
For Parents:
Take a break and enjoy a
kid-free evening on September 26 or October 24!
RSVP to parentsnight@eliotchapel.org and let us know:
- How many kids you’ll be dropping off.
- Their ages.
Note: For the September 26 event, children need to be mostly potty-trained due to activities in the Sanctuary which will not allow us to use the nursery’s changing tables. (Room 001 does not have changing tables.) If you RSVP early for future months, we’ll do our best to have enough volunteers open the nursery.
For Adults of All Ages: Spend a few hours each month building connections with the children at Eliot! This is a wonderful opportunity to:
- Get to know the kiddos in our community.
- Show parents that there are caring adults at Eliot who love and support them.
- Be a surrogate Auntie, Uncle, Grandma, or Grandpa—or just enjoy some extra child energy in your life!
It’s a great activity for Covenant Groups, too!
Email parentsnight@eliotchapel.org if you’d like to volunteer for a few months this year. We need at least 3 volunteers per month (more if we open the nursery).
A background check is required if you haven’t already completed one.
Let’s make this a joyful, sustainable ministry for our Eliot community!
