November 2025 Board Bits
- This month’s thoughtful question came from David Cox: What is a belief you hold now that you did not a few years ago?
- The Board is grateful to all who attended the November 16 Special Meeting. It was an engaging discussion and all proposals passed. Thank you! Minutes will be available in the 2026 Annual Meeting Package for congregational approval.
- The Chalice Keepers Fundraiser is going strong. Board members will provide an update on progress towards our goal ($10K) from the pulpit each Sunday (with or without the candle costume!).
- Calling any Eliot members with HR experience! The Board is forming a Personnel Committee to ensure that we are following Eliot policies and applicable labor laws. Please let us know if you are interested (board@eliotchapel.org).
- Matthew and Bob are planning to continue Open Question discussions (in person and on Zoom) to align with the following sermons:
- January 11 Sermon on Question 2: “With whom in thine broader community shall we grow in loving relationships?”
- March 8 Sermon on Question 3: “What resources shall we commit to center and expand love?”
Stay tuned to This Week at Eliot for more details! Thank you, Matthew and Bob!
