FALL IS NOT THE TIME TO FALL APART!
September 23 is the first day of Fall, bringing flannel shirts, flaming red trees, and crisp, energizing weather. BUT Fall is NOT the time we lessen our efforts to obtain justice for our immigrant neighbors. It is NOT the time to attend cookouts instead of protests; read novels instead of the news; or create TikToks about puppies instead of letters to elected officials. Fall IS the time to become disciplined about those activities. It IS time that we act on our UU values of pluralism and justice. It is time to be bold.
And it is time for the next Immigration Justice Team meeting. Meet your fellow justice warriors at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23 in Adams Hall and claim your piece of the fight. You can also attend via Zoom – check out Sunday's "Eliot on Zoom" email. Y’all come!
