Matthew asked us to consider, “If a friend of yours talked to you the way you talk to yourself, would you stay friends with yourself?” 

FINANCES:

The Board discussed the overall financial health of our church.

• 2025-26 Pledges: Incoming pledges are on target. We are halfway through the church year and have received 53% of pledges made for 2025-26. 
• 2026-27 Pledges: Pledge drive starts March 1st and runs through the 29th, with our goal being a conservative (5%) increase over last year.

BOARD CHAIR-ELECT: 

Matthew Hull was unanimously confirmed to serve as Chair for the 2026-27 church year. 

UPCOMING EVENT: 

March 24, 6:30 pm – “SO…WHO DECIDES THAT? A Conversation About How Eliot Works (And Why It Matters to You)“

Nom Com and the Board are planning a fun event with a practical purpose, to explain how decisions get made at Eliot, and how YOU (yes, you) can get involved!
