Deep Listening is a central practice in participating in covenant groups. Each person takes a turn in a sacred space to share what is happening in their lives, often in relation to a theme. The themes often use Soul Matters Sharing Circle (a resource-sharing UU collaborative) as a resource.

Some groups use a specific focus for their group. For example, there is a Humanist Group and a Soul Writing group.

Groups do a service project for Eliot or the wider community once or twice a year.
